Pro-Am competitor Kenny Chieu qualifies second at JustDrift season opener!

Congrats go out to Battle Version sponsored driver Kenny Chieu who qualified 2nd at Round 1 of Top Drift.  Quite the amazing feat considering over 60 drivers were in attendance and he drives a M/R vehicle which is very uncommon in competitive drifting.

BV sponsored APM Racing FR-S featured on MotoIQ

Back in September of 2012 APM Racing brought their brand new Scion FR-S in to Battle Version for an SCCA / NASA legal roll cage and air jack installation.  The roll cage features dual driver’s side door bars that provide extra safety for the pilot as the car is to compete in wheel to wheel racing.

In fact, the very first event the vehicle competed in was the 25 hours of ThunderHill.

Here is the link to a great article over at MotoIQ written by Justin Banner on the FR-S.
